GET INVOLVED

The Oasis hopes to be financially sustainable (or independent) by 2017. In order to achieve this, we need capital to set up programs and partnerships, while continuing to raise funds for operational costs.

There are many ways to help – offering a one time gift, sponsoring a child, volunteering, etc. By partnering with us, you are not just providing the needs of the shelter – but giving hope and a future to our children.

Give a One-Time Gift

Your one-time gift will go to the operational expenses of The Oasis including food, shelter upkeep, education, and transportation.

You can donate this through the following channels:

Paypal: https://www.paypal.me/theoasisfoundation

Give.Asia: https://give.asia/movement/raising_funds_for_a_baby_shelter_called_the_oasis

Direct deposits can also be arranged.

As a giver, you will immediately be added to our newsletter so that we can update you about how your gift has helped.

Please fill up the form below so that we can get in touch with you or contact partner@theoasis-foundation.com.

Sponsor A Child

“Sponsor a Child (SAC) at The Oasis” is a program designed to provide sustained funding for the essential needs of the children at The Oasis, through the generous commitment of monthly or yearly donations.

For just USD35/month (SGD49/month) or USD420/year (USD590/year), you can help contribute towards the child’s basic needs. CLICK HERE to learn more about this program.

Volunteer

As a self-run home, the Oasis is constantly in need of volunteers.

You can volunteer regardless of where you are in the world, race, language, background and religion. All we need from you is a cheerful disposition and a willing heart.

1. Volunteer at The Oasis in Pattaya:

Instead of just reading about the Oasis, why not come down and spend some time with the children? Not only will they be blessed, but you will be as well!

Short term volunteers (3 days to 2 months) will first be introduced to what we do at the home. This is to ensure that volunteers grasp the vision and mission, as well as child protection guidelines before being able to take part in planning and executing awareness and fund-raising projects following their visits.

Mid term (3-6 months) and long-term (6 months to 1 year) volunteers are welcome to help us in our day-to-day activities once they have secured the necessary visas and credentials.

Note: For onsite volunteers, given that we are working with children, we kindly ask that you provide us with a criminal records background check (CRB check) from your country of residence. Please contact partner@theoasis-foundation.com for more information on the CRB check requirements.

2. Volunteer From Where You Are

We have a variety of volunteering opportunities for individuals willing to help ranging from group talks and fundraising events, newsletters writers and editors, partner communication management, and many more.

Volunteer meetings can either take part in person (if in Singapore) or online (if overseas).

if interested to volunteer from where you are, please write to us at partner@theoasis-foundation.com so we can discuss the different volunteering opportunities for you.

Give in Kind

Gifts in-kind are welcomed on a case-to-case basis.

We encourage that items that can be sourced in Pattaya or Bangkok be purchased from these local markets instead of transporting them from overseas. We believe that we are able to support the local economy in this process, and you avoid hefty transportation and customs costs for items brought into our location.

Here are some of the items that you can gift to The Oasis: diapers, milk formula, baby wash, wet wipes, laundry detergent, rice and pasta. We can discuss further if you have items that may be of help to us that we have not identified here.

Please write to us at  partner@theoasis-foundation.com with a subject line ‘Gifts in-Kind’ so we can provide instructions on sending the gifts.
